Welcome to the Belfast Youth Circus blog!  As inspired by IBM’s Smarter Cities Team and their generous support, we have taken the first step towards broadening the world’s awareness of our circus.  Look around our pages to get information from the circus on a weekly basis about what is going on inside our colourful walls.

There will be trainer profiles, giving you a very special insight into the life of a circus trainer and what they did to get themselves into such a position, as well as quotes and photos of youth circus members themselves.

Watch and see how our superb shows grow from one suggestion into an immense performance involving over 60 people! You can see how the performers learn new and impressive skills that they can add to their performance to delight and dazzle crowds, or just watch how our Saturday class pupils learn wonderful new tricks that they can show off to their friends and family.

Take one step inside and become entranced by the eccentric life of a circus performer, be astonished by amazing aerial and acrobatics. The Belfast Community Circus is one big happy family, and we are inviting you into  our home just to see how wonderful we are!

This blog is written, ran and published by members of the Belfast Youth Circus, whom meet each week to discuss it further. For more information, visit the Belfast Community Circus website here.
